Player vs. service, in one box

Sparkle TV is only a player, we provide a premium playlist that works with the Sparkle TV app.

1. What you need for Fire TV Stick

Firestick runs Fire OS, which is Android-based, so Sparkle TV works on the Stick, Stick Lite, 4K, 4K Max and Fire TV Cube. Have these ready before you start.

  • Your Fire TV Stick connected to the internet
  • 15 Mbps or more for HD — 25 Mbps for 4K
  • Your playlist details — from the email we send after you order or claim a free trial on this site
  • About ten minutes

2. Install the Downloader app

Downloader is the free app that will install Sparkle TV for you. Install it first, before anything else.

1
From the Fire TV home screen, go to Find, then Search.
2
Type Downloader and open its page in the Amazon Appstore.
3
Select Download / Get and wait for it to install.
4
Do not open it yet — first switch on the setting that lets it install apps, in the next two sections.

3. Make Developer Options appear

Fire TV hides Developer Options until you reveal it — this is the step most people miss. It takes about ten seconds.

1
Go to Settings — the gear icon on the home screen.
2
Choose My Fire TV, then About.
3
Highlight your device name — Fire TV Stick.
4
Press the select button on the remote seven times.
5
Keep going until you see 'You are now a developer' — a small message counts you in as you press.
6
Press Back once — Developer Options now appears in the My Fire TV menu.

4. Allow Downloader to install apps

Now give Downloader permission to install apps. You allow it for Downloader only — nothing else changes.

1
In Settings → My Fire TV, open Developer Options.
2
If you see Apps from Unknown Sources, turn it On.
3
On newer Fire TV software, open Install unknown apps instead.
4
Choose Downloader and turn it On for Downloader.

5. Install the Sparkle TV app — code, APK or Google Play

With Downloader allowed, installing Sparkle TV takes a minute. The code is the easiest route on Firestick — the other options are listed so nothing is missed.

1
Open Downloader.
2
Easiest on Firestick: type the code 2696977 in the address box and press Go.
3
Wait for the download, then choose Install, then Done.
4
Delete the APK file when asked — it saves space on the Stick.
5
Direct APK instead? Type the APK download link from our Download page into Downloader and install the same way.
6
Google Play note: Sparkle TV is also on Google Play, but for Android TV, Google TV, phones and tablets — Firestick has no Google Play, so on a Firestick use the code or the APK link.
7
Find Sparkle TV afterwards in Your Apps & Channels.

6. Add your premium playlist

Your email from us includes both login formats — Xtream Codes and an M3U URL — so use whichever you prefer. No email yet? Activation is instant and your details are emailed instantly after payment clears, so order a package or claim your free trial first, then come back to this step.

1
Open Sparkle TV and choose Add Playlist.
2
Choose Xtream Codes login — the recommended option, with the most reliable EPG and categories.
3
Type the server URL exactly as it appears in your email.
4
Type your username and password — case-sensitive, with no spaces before or after.
5
Name the playlist (for example 'Sparkle TV Premium') and tap Save.
6
Prefer M3U instead? Choose M3U, paste your full M3U link from the email, and name the playlist.
7
If the player asks for an EPG URL, paste the one from the same email.
8
Wait 1–3 minutes while the channels and guide download on the first load.

The full walkthrough is in our How to Add a Playlist to Sparkle TV guide.

7. Check your channels

Time to confirm everything works. Run these quick checks before you settle in.

1
Open Sparkle TV from Your Apps & Channels and let your playlist finish loading.
2
Open the guide and pick any live channel — it should start within a second or two.
3
Let it play for a minute — smooth and in HD.
4
Check the EPG shows the right programmes for your time zone (set the time zone in the player's settings if it is off).
5
Start one movie or series from the on-demand library.
6
Finishing touch: highlight Sparkle TV on the home screen, press the Menu button on the remote and choose Move to front.

8. Troubleshooting — buffering, install and login fixes

Almost every setup problem is a mistyped password, a playlist pasted with a missing character, or weak Wi-Fi. Work through these fixes in order — they solve the vast majority of first-time setups.

  • Login rejected (401 / invalid): re-type the Xtream Codes username and password slowly — check capitals and extra spaces.
  • Blank or missing channels: refresh the playlist in the player's Settings, and check the M3U URL was pasted in full.
  • Buffering: test your speed (15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K), restart the app and the router, and use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band or a wired connection where you can.
  • Empty EPG: refresh the guide and confirm your time zone is set correctly.
  • Black screen, or the app closes right after install: go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → Sparkle TV → Force Stop, then Clear Cache, and reopen the app.
  • Downloader says the code failed: re-type 2696977 carefully, or use the direct APK link from our Download page instead.
  • Still stuck? Contact support@sparkletvplayer.com — tell us your device model and the exact error.

9. Prices, free trial and next steps

Every plan includes the full playlist — plans differ only in length and devices. Start with the free trial, then choose a subscription if you love it.
