DMCA Policy
How to submit a copyright notice for material connected with this website — what a complete notice must include, where to send it, what happens next, and how counter-notices work.
Sparkle TV is a player app developed and owned by its own developer. This website does not own, operate or control that app. Subscription access is arranged through this website and supplied through independent third-party providers, and this website does not host the channels or content accessed through that access. We still take copyright seriously: if your work is affected, use the process on this page and we will review it promptly and pass valid notices on where action needs to be taken by a provider.
At a glance
- Send notices to support@sparkletvplayer.com, clearly marked for the copyright team.
- A complete notice must identify the work, the material, your contact details, and include the good-faith and accuracy statements and your signature.
- We review valid notices promptly and act on confirmed infringements, including disabling access where we can.
- If your material was removed in error, you can send a counter-notice — see Section 5.
We respect copyright
We respect the intellectual property and copyright rights of content owners, creators and broadcasters. This page explains how copyright owners — or agents authorised to act for them — can notify us about material they believe infringes their copyright, in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws. Only the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf, should submit a notice.
How to submit a notice
Email your notice to support@sparkletvplayer.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice — for the copyright team”, so it reaches the right people without delay. Please send one notice covering all of the material you are reporting, and include everything listed in Section 3 — incomplete notices may need to be returned for the missing information, which slows things down. You can also reach us first via the Contact page, marked for the copyright team.
What a complete notice must include
To be valid and actionable, your notice must include all of the following:
- The work — identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
- The material — identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and where it appears, with enough detail (for example, the channel, programme, date and time, or page) for it to be located.
- Your contact details — your full name, organisation (if any), postal address, telephone number and email address.
- Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Signature — your physical or electronic signature.
What happens after a notice
When we receive a complete, valid notice, we will: acknowledge it; review the material identified; and act promptly on confirmed infringements — which may include removing or disabling access to the material where it is within our control, and referring the notice to the relevant independent third-party provider where the material is supplied by them. We may contact you if we need more information to locate or assess the material, and we may notify the affected party that a notice was received.
Counter-notices
If you believe your material was removed or disabled in error — by mistake or misidentification — you may send a counter-notice to support@sparkletvplayer.com, marked for the copyright team. A counter-notice must include:
- Your full name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if outside the United States, to an appropriate jurisdiction), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original notifier. Unless that notifier tells us they have filed a court action, removed material may be restored within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Repeat infringer policy
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to terminate — or to ask the relevant provider to terminate — the access of users who are repeat infringers, and to block arrangements made to circumvent a previous termination. We also reserve the right to act on a single serious infringement where the circumstances require it.
This page is not legal advice
This page explains our process in general terms. It is not legal advice, and it does not create any rights beyond those provided by applicable law. If you are unsure about your rights or about how to prepare a notice or counter-notice, we recommend speaking to a qualified legal adviser.
