1. What you need for Android Tablet
A tablet uses the same playlist login as your TV, and on a stand it makes a brilliant kitchen, bedroom or travel screen. Have these ready before you start.
- Your Android tablet connected to the internet
- 15 Mbps or more for HD — 25 Mbps for 4K
- Your playlist details — from the email we send after you order or claim a free trial on this site

2. Install Sparkle TV from Google Play
Google Play is the normal route on a tablet. If Play does not offer the app on your tablet, the next section is your backup plan.

Open the Google Play Store app on your tablet.

Search for Sparkle TV and open the app page.

Tap Install — the player is free to download.

Tap Open when it finishes, then add your playlist below.
3. APK fallback — allow 'install unknown apps'
Only use this route if Google Play does not offer the app on your tablet. It takes two extra minutes.

Open our Download page in the tablet's browser and tap the APK download button.

When the download finishes, tap the file — Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser.

Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps.

Choose your browser and turn on Allow from this source.

Go back, tap the file again, and choose Install.

Open Sparkle TV and continue to 'Add your premium playlist'.

4. Add your premium playlist

Open Sparkle TV and choose Add Playlist.

Choose Xtream Codes login — the recommended option, with the most reliable EPG and categories.

Type the server URL exactly as it appears in your email.

Type your username and password — case-sensitive, with no spaces before or after.

Name the playlist (for example 'Sparkle TV Premium') and tap Save.

Prefer M3U instead? Choose M3U, paste your full M3U link from the email, and name the playlist.

If the player asks for an EPG URL, paste the one from the same email.

Wait 1–3 minutes while the channels and guide download on the first load.

5. Check your channels — turn it sideways
One turn of the tablet changes everything here. Then run the usual quick checks.

Open Sparkle TV and let the playlist finish loading.

6. Troubleshooting — buffering, login and display fixes
Almost every setup problem is a mistyped password, a playlist pasted with a missing character, or weak Wi-Fi. Work through these fixes in order — they solve the vast majority of first-time setups.
- Login rejected (401 / invalid): re-type the Xtream Codes username and password slowly — check capitals and extra spaces.
- Blank or missing channels: refresh the playlist in the player's Settings, and check the M3U URL was pasted in full.
- Buffering: test your speed (15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K), restart the app and the router, and use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band or a wired connection where you can.
- Empty EPG: refresh the guide and confirm your time zone is set correctly.
- Guide text too small: increase the player's interface or font scale in its settings if offered, and browse by category (Sports, Movies, Kids) instead of the full channel list.
- APK will not install: check 'Allow from this source' is on for the exact browser or Files app you opened the file with.
